Leon.jpg

Leon Alderfer,

Founding Chairman

Now with the Lord, Leon Alderfer was the founding and longtime Chairman of CBIT USA, formerly Friends of CBIT. Recognizing the critical role of CBIT in training pastors for the rapidly growing Church in East Africa, Leon organized a US-based Board to oversee fundraising and provide financial accountability for our ministry partners, CBIT Uganda. Leon made his living as a software entrepreneur and project controls expert. He passed away in 2020.
